Microsoft Says Tax Would Move Jobs Offshore

The whole off-shoring is such a red herring. After all Microsoft and others are some of the biggest users of teh H1-B (LCA) program. If costs overseas where so favorable (and let's not forget political climate) their use of H1-B would be less. (which by the way any company currently accepting...

in my instance slot 1 and 2 are fine its 3 and 4 that it wont boot. Not that the performance hit is that big a deal, just kinda gets to ya, ya know. So probably just going to see how tight I can make the timings and OC to compensate. my E8400 is at 3.6GHz now sitting under an Ultra 120 so I...

Gigabyte P35-DS3L won't do Dual Channel

Last night was reviewing some other posts I made about this and realized that I had issues running the memory out of slots 3 and 4. So I tried those slots again and no go the system did the memory settings reset (2nd auto reset as per Gigabyte Bios feature) and still did not boot. So now I...

NVIDIA Dictates Advertised Video Card Pricing

Mohonri, Exactly. Under Leegin its still possible to be illegal, just now its a case-by-case situation, and since gamers and enthusiasts are lazy ;P......... Its just a silly policy and I think it will benefit AMD to some degree, but unless AMD can release better performing products that...

NVIDIA Dictates Advertised Video Card Pricing

I Think some of you are missing the point. Nvidia is NOT enforcing MSRP like the Leegin case. The reason is they can't. But what Then can do is effective enforce a minimum and most likely avoid legal challenge. Also the actual price you are paying is still variable. Really all this means is...

NVIDIA Dictates Advertised Video Card Pricing

Here is a good write-up on Leegin http://www.antitrustlawblog.com/article-supreme-court-overrules-96-yearold-rule-in-dr-miles-and-holds-vertical-price-agreements-are-neither-per-se-illegal-nor-per-se-legal-but-subject-to-casebycase-test.html Since things are now a case-by-case I think...

    HDMI DVI Cable 28AWG - 6ft w/Ferrite Cores (Gold Plated) *$2.93 +s/h*

I wouldn't rely on Gizmodo as a great source. yeah the test is reasonably valid. I would suggest looking to avsforum. You'll find some great links. I by the way ran 25/30 Monoprice Component and VGA cables and have no issues even at 1080p resolution.
