    Alienware AW3926QW Glossy 39" 5K2K 165Hz w/ RGB Stripe

There is a possibility Dell is gimping it to play it safe in terms of satisfying their 3 year warranty. Asus offers the same but seems they are more care free about it due to whatever heatsink design and they want the sales push from being marketed brightest.

    LG 48C6 OLED48C6PUA evo AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

Even with a 32" deep desk and the TV push against the wall it was still too much vertical real estate for my liking. Couldn't just mostly use my eyes to scan from top to bottom. Once they get this level of performance in the 42" size I'll be happy to revisit but doesn't sound like it's...

It's for sure power consumption as what's holding them back

    LG 48C6 OLED48C6PUA evo AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

Looks like Rtings reviewed the 48 specifically today and it hits 1500nits in their real scene test which matches just how damn bright it looked to my eyes. It also managed 94% color volume so shouldn't really be much different from QD OLED. Now make it 42 and RGB + 240hz and I would be set for...

    LG 48C6 OLED48C6PUA evo AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

Yeah so I gave up on this. Something else that really bothered me was VRR flicker. I never experienced it anywhere near as bad as it is on this display. From C2 42 to 45GX950 it's never intrusive enough to bother but on this thing it was really bad. Every instance of asset load stutter was just...

    LG 48C6 OLED48C6PUA evo AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

It improved as much as it will ever improve after the 1st or 2nd refresh. Out the box was unusable, after initial or 2nd is it's current still poor state that has remained consistent across all subsequent pixel refreshes. I probably just lost the panel lottery.

    Alienware AW3926QW Glossy 39" 5K2K 165Hz w/ RGB Stripe

You convinced me to buy the monitor. If the horrible grainy greys and vertical bands are gone with the absence of a white sub pixel and it can come near QD-OLED uniformity I'm all for it. With the 48" C6 I'm trying to use now I just cant get over the vertical bands. Makes every explorer...

    LG 48C6 OLED48C6PUA evo AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

I'm going to try to get it on a stand behind the desk to both lower it and push it away in an attempt to make it usable. I'm out of patience with the monitor market, everything has some huge drawback whether it be the size of this or the lack of brightness of the monitors or just total MIA on...

    Alienware AW3926QW Glossy 39" 5K2K 165Hz w/ RGB Stripe

I dunno it's just way too compromised. 165hz, 1st gen OLED monitor brightness, and a fan. I just feel like we've made no progress what so ever since the first 32" launched outside of text quality because this offers the same thing 3 years later with some additional slivers of width. I don't...

    LG 48C6 OLED48C6PUA evo AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

I got one of these yesterday and it is surprisingly bright. It kind of shocked me compared to the 45" and 39" I tried prior. Grey uniformity is horrific on my unit. Otherwise clips at 1500nits with HGIG enabled and I'm measuring legit 937nit 10ish percent highlights. PPI and height are...

    Alienware AW3926QW Glossy 39" 5K2K 165Hz w/ RGB Stripe

Man the HDR brightness is so poor. It will end up doing like mid 400nits 10% window real scene.

    LG 48C6 OLED48C6PUA evo AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

I'm about to order one of these because the LG 39 was pathetically dim and disappointed and the AW model will be even dimmer. It sucks that I still have to resort to a TV to get a decent all arounder. I just hope a 36in deep desk will be enough but I'm guessing this will be borderline too big

    Alienware AW3926QW Glossy 39" 5K2K 165Hz w/ RGB Stripe

I just cant imagine a OLED monitor with current tech that gets that bright lasting beyond a year of heavy PC related used. Works great as a occasional media consumption display like on a TV with a lot more surface area to dissipate heat but no chance as a desktop monitor.
