Hey The Mac,
I don't think you can expect more improvements from AMD/ATI in drivers for different cards then R7/R9. This is their main focus and they'll spend most of their time unless there is critical bug found. Older cards had already their share of attention.
Hey,
I've just noticed that the official 13.11 driver has been released.
Can be downloaded from, but please scroll to the bottom:

Can't see release notes yet.
I'm thinking of buying monitor calibration device to get the colours and contrast right for day and night.
I wonder whether Spyder 4 Pro would be good choice.
@James Freeman,
Mine overclocks to 72Hz and 75Hz( this is max ). I can't see any stutter and I come from 120hz Samsung S27A750D.
@Mike500
I order second Asus from ebuyer UK, hoping it would have less bleed but it was actually worst. I've spotted that in mid left of the screen there was a...
cannondale06, you have very good point.
What we're seeing is price fixing and someone from gov should check that.
It's very comfortable situation for both of the companies.
I picked up another of those hoping it wouldn't have backlight leaks like my first one but it is even worse with it. Also the new one has a speck of dust or some imperfection in the middle of the screen.
I wonder if I would be better with some semi glossy or glossy IPS screen.
Could be Full...
Hey, I've tried to take video during weekend but it's nothing that I can post.
There's not enough natural light to make decent looking video and out of focus grainy image from iPhone 5 won't do justice to this monitor.
@kossair Hi
I don't think the colours on mine are washed, quite the opposite.
Perhaps you want to try my settings?
Standard settings preset, Brightness 25%, Contrast 80%, Colour temperature custom setting with blue set to 90% and VividPixel set to %0.
@Outbreaker
It doesn't look like that, I...
I feel I need to clarify my complaint about the blacks.
The blacks on various web sites or in movies/games where there's mixed content looks awesome, what I can describe as inky black.
As soon as there's solid background with little other elements on the screen the glow is visible.
I...
I've tried and can't wont take a picture. I think the auto focus gets confused and I'm not sure how to operate it manually but I'll look into that tonight.
What kind of shutter speed and ISO should I set for this?
Hey all,
I've tried to take good pictures but I know very little about photography, and lightning condition on British morning don't make it easy.
There are two version of the pictures, original which have about 4k resolution and small ones resized to Full HD and with slightly decreased...
I'm not sure what's going on, but I have some small trouble getting right colours.
When in standard mode with brightness set to 80% and colour temperature set to warm the blacks looks quite bad, there's certain glow or shine from the monitor.
Setting brightness down to 20-30% helps but then...
The monitor is here, so I'll the do the unboxing movie in the evening.
However I couldn't resist and I've already had a peak at the device while at work.
The image seems nice and vibrant. Until now I was using very glossy monitor - Samsung S27A750D and thought that non glossy ones can't...
