"IPS with less blur as possible" Well thats the trick. The best monitor in my opinion to get for RTS and MMO's is going to be the Asus Swift PG278Q.
I noticed a huuuuuge difference in FFXIV:ARR with motion blur reduction. Before panning the camera it would be a blurry mess with the Qnix (even...
It has been an odd transition for me from the Qnix 2710 to this ROG SWIFT. The matt screen and washed out colors were immediately evident and jarring. Firing up Bioshock Infinite and the extra smoothness was nice but I missed the deep accurate color especially the blue sky. Then I tried Advanced...
Ordered from DEC Trader on Amazon on Sept 1st. Got shipping confirmation today from Amazon. DEC sent a seperate email saying it wont ship until the 15th of Oct.
So basically two more weeks ;)
I should have just gotten a FW900 but I dont wanna fool around with calibrating it plus they are...
I went from a 24" Asus TN 144hz to a Qnix 2710 IPS/PLS. The 1440p plus the colors were incredible however even overclocked at 96hz the motion blur was a significant step back from the 144hz TN. I also tried the Eizo VA only to return it due to bad gamma shift and the right side of the display...
So I'm refunding this. The gamma shift and colors were really bad imo compared to no gamma shift and perfect colors of IPS. The motion blur reduction was nice but not enough for me to want to keep this. Felt like a downgrade from a Qnix 2710. Lesson learned. I primarily play FFXIV fyi.
I play FFXIV on a Qnix 2710 and the input lag doesnt seem to worsen when frames drop. I actually love this monitor for mmo's with the extra screen real estate 1440p offers and the suburb color and viewing angles meaning I can lean back in my chair and not have display degradation.
Of course...
Ordered mine this past weekend and received it Wed from Greensum. No dead pixels minor blb on lower left and upper left but not too bad. Stand seems fine to me. Overclocked to 96hz but couldnt hit 120hz.
I came from a lightboost monitor so the motion blur is noticable however at 96hz its...
SATA power cable was indeed my issue. I thought it was for an eSATA that my motherboard didn't have. The instructions didn't specify that. Thanks a ton XNine.
I turned on the rear fan again and will see if it continues to make "noise." So far so good though.
