    I've used the firewire on the audigy 1 & 2 and also a seperate PCI card. I havent noticed any kind of increase or decrease in speed or performance.

    I also own one of the super aliens. great case and built very well. The only thing I hate about it is the the motherboard tray thats in it is pretty much useless unless you remove pretty much everything. nothing compared to a lian li tray. other then that, great case! :D
