Seagate Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Failing Hard Drives

Well, yes. As you can see from the image, I have pretty much every generation of Seagate hard drive. I buy a new one every year. The only drive I had that failed early was the ST3000DM001, my other 3TB model that's a year older is still running fine. I do feel that Seagate drives aren't...

Quantum Break Coming To Xbox One And Windows 10

It's not about DX12, it's a universal app like Rise of the Tomb Raider. Universal apps won't run on Windows 7 because it's missing all the system files. I can see someone hacking it to work on Windows 8, but not 7.

Some of the Seagate drives I have are over 10 years old. My PC has been running 24/7 for years.

Seagate Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Failing Hard Drives

Anyone know if there is a class action in Canada as well? I have this exact drive. Died 2 months after the 1 year warranty was up. I have 8 other Seagate hard drives in my PC going strong after many years.

New Credit Cards May Make Tipping More Awkward

Come to Canada, we'll show you how it's done. We've had chips for over 10 years. Every restaurant is equipped with wireless terminals that they can bring to your table when you want to pay your bill. You enter the tip, they hand you the receipt, end of story.

ATI 550 Pro TV Tuner Volume Too Loud

I have an older ATI 550 pro TV tuner card that I'm trying to use to capture some old VHS tapes. The problem is that the volume is so loud, I get clipping and the sound crackles when there is too much action going on. There is no seperate volume control for it as it is an hardware MPEG2...

    Paypal Secretly Adding New Fees

Yeah, atleast I think so. I got dinged the last few times I received money on my personal account. A quick google search turned up the following changes effective June 3:

This may be weird, but I like Vista more than Win 7

I wouldn't call that a fix, since the window is still transparent and I can still see my wallpaper through it. Sure I can disable my wallpaper, and minimize all the windows under it, but that is a little extreme. Anyway, whatever. I was simply expressing my dislike for how Windows 7 handled...

This may be weird, but I like Vista more than Win 7

Where's the setting? I wasn't able to find it :( By the way, I'm referring to transparency "only" when the window is maximized. I still want transparency on when the window is shrunk. Take a look at any Vista machine, and you'll see what I mean.

    Paypal Secretly Adding New Fees

Not only that, they've added fees to receiving money from non-cc transactions regardless of weather you have a personal or premier account.

This may be weird, but I like Vista more than Win 7

I want non-transparent maxmized windows back. I don't want to see 20 desktop icons in the background when I'm surfing the internet :(
