    i'm in the same boat. i think this would be possible but you would have to have your cable/tv on a separate input and not connected through your XB1. TV/Cable input could be in use while your XB1 is streaming to your computer "behind the scenes".

    very true, you can't run power cables through the drywall. it won't pass code and is obviously a fire hazard. you need to add a new power receptacle using romex cable, which isn't hard at all to do anyway. as for data cables, no problem running those through the drywall.
