Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Exciting times..
I have a brand new Corsair C70 that's been sitting in a box for over 3 years waiting for the next build.. I loved the one I bought to get away from that bulky HAF X that I wanted another one for the next build.. glad I bought ahead of time because now it's discontinued. It's...
I believe the SE was only in high demand immediately upon launch (My pre order was delayed like 3 weeks).. no doubt mostly by folks resisting the move to larger phones.. but I don't think it took long for that to dry up what with most people preferring larger phones. I guess that's probably why...
Right, it would absolutely be higher. When I say I'm sad they axed it I refer to the design, not the price point, sorry if that wasn't clear.
As far as the cheap iPhone thing goes.. I've never seen iPhones get as cheap as the SE did around the 2 year mark without it being some awful 16gb SKU...
The SE was often available on Amazon for absurdly low prices.. I have a 128gb Space Grey SE that I got for $189. That's an extreme example but it wasn't uncommon to see them for $250ish.
It really was a gem, and I'm really sad they chose to axe instead of update it.
Another thumbs up for Synology.
I run an old Synology DS1010+ 5 bay device. It was pretty fantastic about keeping all my data in one piece after one of the drives failed (raid 6). The GUI is easy to use and it doubles pretty well as a plex server (provided the devices playing back the content...
The MX518 is an all time favorite of mine. That love started with the MX510 which I used for several years before I wore out. Moved on to a 518 which I used up until 2013 at which point I saw the G500 on sale for a good price.. bought in a pair. I later moved to the 500S and put the 500 in my...
I'll post some pics when I get home, but I received mine late last week. There are a couple of stuck pixels and there was some severe back light bleeding. I took it apart, bent the frame member back straight, and then did the electrical tape mod. It's not perfect, there is a little bit of...
Ah, he is referring to the tendency rubber dome users have to bottom out. I find I do not bottom out as much as I used to now that I've been using mechanical keyboards for the last year and a half, and have gotten faster.
It's not necessary to stop bottoming out, but it's nice.
I have a 60" LG Plasma.
I find that if a static image is left on the screen for 5-10 minutes, I can shut off the plasma and see it. Turning the plasma back on and either running color wash or other content clears it quickly however.
So being able to see it with the TV off is not necessary...
I have determined that both monitors are +/+ at 1920x1080 @ 60Hz.. so in theory it should work. Hopefully I can find a confirmation somewhere.. if not I might have to be the test case.
So I currently have one S23A700D @ 120hz, and the S23B300B seems to be very much the same only 60hz.
Would it be possible to run all three displays at 60hz for Nvidia surround, or does it absolutely demand all three displays be identical? I have found a lot of inconclusive information...
I've always found that having a 2nd monitor was more useful for that sort of thing.
As for mechanical keyboards, the biggest decision is what switch you want. I'm a huge Buckling spring fan (IBM, Unicomp), but there are also MX Cherry switches to consider...
