    I used a Magnifying Glass and some of the pins look like they were bent up and to the side but i can't tell for sure if they would short out so i just didn't want to chance it and fry my cpu or anything else :(

    Well after fighting tooth and nail with the supervisor who swore that they always put protective covers on the sockets ( i guess they ran out of covers that day ) :rolleyes: I sent the board back for a 2nd RMA and i asked to please make sure everything was ok right before they pack it up ...
