Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Can pay with PayPal (as of right now I can only do CC paypal, unfortunately), Google Wallet, Amazon Payments, and Bitcoin/Litecoin. In the case of BTC/LTC payments, I would prefer to use Bitrated for escrow.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm having the exact same issue. "Don't allow hubs to override" does precisely nothing. I'm just about ready to relocate my hub someplace away from my LAN.
Must have 4 RAM slots.
Two PCIe x16 slots preferable, but not required.
I would prefer to pay in bitcoin/litecoin, but can work with paypal and amazon payments as well.

You could setup a FreeNAS. If you already have AD you can set FreeNAS to with against it. It supports CIFS and AFP, so you could not bother with CIFS/SMB on the macs. I have been having some issues making AFP author against ADS, but the research I've done on the issue leads me to believe it's a...
Another vote for pfSense. I did a setup like the one you describe for an office building that provides every tenant with internet, with a pfSense and 3 HP ProCurves. Each office gets its own VLAN/subnet. Setting up a DMZ where tenants can have public IPs instead of being behind the building's...
If you don't have Windows 7 Ultimate/Enterprise for BitLocker, you can implement a setup similar to the one discussed (flash drive with encryption keys on it) with Truecrypt. It's free and open source.
Dropbox is not backup! It is a file sync service. This is not the same - a deletion of an item on one device will remove it from all sync'ed devices. There have been cases of glitches on Dropbox's servers deleting data from people's devices.
I run KDE4 on my workstation. I access windows through VirtualBox when needed. Customizeable hotkeys for everything (KDE Apps anyway), LOTS of global hotkeys. Very polished. I highly recommend it.
This is only necessary when buildings have their own power lines due to grounding issues. It won't apply if you're running both the power (including ground) and data cables from the house to the shed.
