Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I couldn't find "Great" benchmarks on this CPU for productivity, and we needed to replace the old i5-6600k video rendering machine in our office.
I bought and tested all of these CPUs myself off Amazon/ebay:
i5-14600k
i9-14900k
7800X
7950X
7950X3D
With our workload in premiere (rending 90...
How come I take the time to read these threads start to finish only to conclude I need to wait and read another thread start to finish a few years down the road
I have a weird use case where I am doing heavy desktop work at clients as a consultant. Currently have a P71 I bought when they came out that has a few issues (warranty is over).
Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:

I realistically expect the improvements to be almost identically in line as those seen with Intel chips from Sandy -> Ivy -> Haswell ->etc
2-3% when measured clock-for-clock. Power will drop, just as it did with the intels, when die shrinking. Enthusiasts don't really care about power.
If it is a true 45 it should be fine, but for example our family room tv is more like 60-70 degrees viewing from our kitchen table (not its intended purpose) and it's a strain to watch.
Sitting at a 30-45 degree I once again prefer the 8000 over the 6 and 7s I believe because it is brighter, or...
I currently own in different rooms in my house Samsung 6000 7000 and 8000s
The color of the 8000 is better in all ways and the OS loads and runs faster. Quality control is also better.
I spent about a month researching this in January before buying yet another Samsung and wound up with the 55"...
They do not weigh the same. The Camaro has higher advertised power. All this is addressed in the link up there and the motortrend head to head video.
They have nearly identical power to weight ratio is based on advertised numbers. 8.1 is 97.5% of 8.3:1. They have splitting hairs identical...
Trap speed and 1/4 mile performance are almost identical despite the camaro weighing 200 lbs more.

They have almost identical stated power to weight ratios. Neither looks more bullshit...

The SS 1LE is manual transmission only. Not a true comparison to the 8 speed auto car.
The Supra is 3300 lbs. The Camaro is 3700 lbs.
We will have to wait for trap speed...
Exaggeration is cool and all but 2jz getrag Supras cannot reliably make 1280 crank horsepower on the stock drivetrain. Dyno pulls and roll racing are great but the only 2jz powered cars to finish Drag Week (drive site to site with no support crew) have GM TH400 transmissions and Ford 9" IRS rear...
