    I put together an i7 920 system with 12 GB memory: ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 2*CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) I had some boot issues but after that the system runs without problem with SUSE 11.1. I do not overclock though. I had no time to try it out.

    Yup, the retention plate has standoffs which were too long for my card. It left a gap between the block and the GPU. Don't know if the special HD4870 block is different.

    Hi, I just put a MCW60 on a VISIONTEK 900241 HD4850 and noticed quite a gap between the GPU and the block. I used the standard plate. To fix the gap I added a thin sheet between the plate and the block.. Seems fine now.
