    Is 3Dmark synthetic valid?

    For me, these kinds of 3D benchmark apps are good for stability testing on new PC builds. I don't draw any conclusions however from a "score" that really means nothing. If I pass all of the tests after multiple loops and all is well, I move on from there with more testing and finally onto games...
