    iPhone 16 and 16 Pro

I had a cellular bag phone first then some great Sony cells, then as things turned out I eventually got a iPhone IIIGS as my first real smart phone. The wife wanted a phone and we got two new Nokia's, Windows OS, 41 MP cameras and my wife made 10 or 20,000 photos she loved that phone...

Streaming devices. Buying the only real option?

I recently was forced into streaming as my ISP (Ziply Fiber) dropped TV in my area. I first went to Costco and bought 2 Mac Mini's (Upstairs and down) and thought that was going to wok. They were the basic models and did not cut the mustard. Continual freezes flips and flops. I then bought a...

FX 9590 Facts I have one

I have never heard one with a Carbon fiber sound board, it seems reasonable that it could be made better than nature, but who really knows. Charlie Kaman sure tried with the Ovation to make something better. Hard to beat a good spruce top though. Sound is a fickle and personal thing. I have...

    4 Weeks with Radeon R9 290X CrossFire @ [H]

I think I'll buy the Arctic Cooling Acellero Extreme III VGA cooler. I'll do the Stock Sapphire 290X cooler first and see how it sounds, performs, then make the switch and see If I can see or hear a difference.

ASUS R9 290X DirectCU II OC Video Card Review @ [H]

I paid more for mine, not that it makes me happy, but it will definitely outperform my current 7970, which will migrate to another computer in X-Fire and I'll have enhanced performance on two computers. eases the pain of paying too much..

FX 9590 Facts I have one

Yes it was/is. I have to get it to where I can work on it. I am a little disabled and times like these it seems like a little more! Oh well you deal with the cards you have, and I can do all this I just have to get it positioned better. I should have tried it out in the open in the first...

FX 9590 Facts I have one

Well I got mine together, but no post, no power button. I'll have to recheck all my connections. I do have LEDs indicating the board is getting power.

    4 Weeks with Radeon R9 290X CrossFire @ [H]

They definitely do through Corsair Link, which I installed (Software with the Cooler) It was my fist liquid cooler. I have since installed a Antec Khuler 920 in another computer and after getting installation sorted, it seems much cooler quieter to me, so much so I looked for another 920 or 950...

    4 Weeks with Radeon R9 290X CrossFire @ [H]

You might want to try different fans for the H100i, as the stock ones ramp up the noise rather quickly to me, but it could be my 7990 card too. I think it is the stock H100i fans though and I have two quiter Corsar fans to put in there, I'm just too lazy to get it done.

    4 Weeks with Radeon R9 290X CrossFire @ [H]

There was a brief battle after the top-of-the-line Matrox Millennium (I had it in PCI with a Daughter card that boosted the onboard memory) for AGP winners and Matrox dropped by the wayside. I had a couple of other oddballs too. Makes me really appreciate the new cards like the 290X.
