    As I stated I have fixed the problem, i just wanted to know if the card had a problem or if this was a know issue with dvi and the 9800pro. Also LCD's dont have a dcc information check, at least my past 2 have not.

    I just purchased my Sapphire 9800pro 128mb the other day, and when I boot it up I am getting horizontal red lines on my screen, until I turn on reduce dvi frequency at high resolutions. I am running a dell 2001fp flat panel on dvi, Just curious if this is normal.

    Wait till R420 comes out then price on a 9800xt will drop and buy it. Thats what I plan on doing.

    Currently windows xp does not support higher than 96dpi according to this article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=820286 Also increasing the dpi would make the text smaller.

    Well I was playing with some math and noticed that 1600x1200 comes out to 1.33, 1280x1024 comes to 1.25, and 1280x960 comes to 1.33. Came up with this by dividing the 2.     just got my 2001fp!

    To add a custom reso to a game do the following: 1:right click on the target icon 2:chose properties 3: on the target line add -xres 1280 -yres 1024 this may or may not need to be in "". Just replace those numbers with whatever reso you want.

    Just got my 2001fp and must say I love it, virtually no ghosting. Got lucky as well I have no dead pixels or back light problems. Currently I am running mine at 1280X1024 on desktop reso, just wondering what all the other 2001fp owners are running. 1600x1200 looks better but just seemed to small...
