Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
This seems like a good successor to the Silverstone FT02b I had for years. 180's, positive pressure, all intakes filtered. I was kind of sad when I went from the FT02b to a Meshify C. That lil case was a bit garbage.
The Phanteks P600s I've been using for a few years is really pretty good...
I was able to get the firmware to update by factory resetting the monitor, setting the refresh to 144hz, and shutting off my second monitor. Not sure which of those three was the trick, but it worked.
Just fyi for anyone in the future that might have the same updating problem.
Edit: Also, the...
I picked mine up as soon as it was available. One annoyance is the front RGB strip. Every time I turn the monitor off then back on, it doesn't remember my setting for OFF. There was a firmware update on 6/05/23 that fixes that, but the update fails every time I try it. I do have a USB extension...
Ducky One with Cherry MX - Clear. Logitech g303, Logitech G305, test running a Razer Naga Trinity and Logitech G600 for MMO's.
Always thought an MMO mouse would make things quicker in MMO's, just scared to try. It doesn't help that the MMO mice are the size of dinner plates and I have short...
Sounds likely to be V-Sync related. Possibly has a garbage mouse like the Logitech G600 that would not allow a firmware update, and it needed one to fix that latency issue if I remember.
Was it present on your old setup with the same mouse?
I preordered from B&H on July 9th, thinking I wouldn't get an order in on time for the 5 mins newegg would have them available.
Still haven't recieved a damn word on it. To make things worse, I have a complete PC worth of equipment sitting here waiting to be built... that will be outside its...
There are also 4 100uf capacitors (one 16v one 35v) I think that are always on even when it's switched into headphone mode. If I replace those I think that might get rid of the hum in the headphone amp portion. Hmmmm don't have a pencil soldering iron or the pics that guy sent me a couple years...
I have had the Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultra's since they came out. I stopped using them about a year ago. I was in apartments for years and never could really use the speakers. I just used the little control pod as a headphone amp most of the time and that saved the components in the amp. I did...
Wow, that sounded much better than the other video. Now i'm only scared how well it will cool when vertical in my FT02. I've read when the gpu is above the heatpipes on these cards, they don't cool as well when oriented vertically. I've also read that these heatpipes were made to work in all...
Performance/$$$$ with sound being 2nd to those. Just can't sound annoying or loud.
My last three cards were: 8800GTX when it came out, 5970 on release, GTX580 a fair amount after release for... reasons. Now I have a 980ti ordered. I was going to wait to see the Perofrmance/$$$$ of the Fury X...
I already purchased the G1 on newegg. It's not in yet, but after hearing it on that video... i'm kind of regretting it. I'll just have to wait and hear how horrible it sounds in my case.
Someone on the evga forum linked it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25515gnTmjM
That really isn't enough info to go off of. You may not even hear it in your case. I just couldn't justify spending that extra $60 either. May not hear it, or it may be a good bit louder than i'd like, dunno...
I just went with the Gigabyte G1 GTX 980ti. It looks like the cooler on it works really well.
I was going to go with the EVGA 980ti Hybrid but I was reading that the pump is really loud. I wasn't sure the radiator would fit at the top 120mm spot in my case anyways. I have a Silverstone FT02...
I bought the Silverstone FT02 when it first came out... 2009 I think. I had a Radeon 5870 reference blower in there for the first couple of years then switched to a Galaxy GTX 580 with triple fan blowing air in the case.
This Silverstone FT02 has been keeping everything cool and quiet for...
