    What is this efficient crap? The Northwood and XP's all used about the same amount of juice per performence with the northwoods being a little less when OC'd. You have three years with a retail CPU through intel. If you didn;t buy retail you should be slapped.

    Some of the last 1GHz PIII 100MHz fsb did 1.33GHz on default or near default. If you do the math they were only running around 50w which is not that much. It also depends on which 1GHz it is. Intel made a tualatin 1.0 GHz PIII.
