Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Awareness? Maybe as a hobby band for fun, but if you're serious about it you'll want to make a bit of coin on the CDs to fund the band, recording, van, tour, and production of more CDs, etc. $5 might have cut it for cassettes back in 1992, but nowadays a 10 spot is more right on, at least most...
Exactly. But you could probably do it for $10. It's hard enough being a small band getting ripped off by bar owners, shouldn't undercut yourself on the CDs.
Based on my experiences putting out releases by my own bands - which is not in any way an experience that a band on a major label will have:
As an individual, you can get very fancy CDs made w/ a 4 panel 4 color insert, tray card, silkscreened CD, jewel case & shrink wrap and at 1000 CDs you...
feh, I wen't from a 21" Viewsonic P810 to a Samsung 913T 8ms TFT LCD monitor.
Sure, the Samsung LCD was brighter and a hair sharper, but it BLURS fine detail when in fast motion (especially noticeable in GuildWars w/ fine detail, also noticeable in BF2 in fine detail).
LCD's have a bit...
case: Sonata is a NICE case, if you want more *bling*, then go for a SuperLanBoy.
Monitor: I just picked up a 913T - excellent LCD for the money.
CPU & Multis: yeah, go for the 3200+, that 10x multi is nice to have. If you have the $$$, I'd say even go for the 3500+ because the 11x...
Have been using the 913T for a couple days, I'm still impressed with it.
Forcing it to 1280x1024 75hz refresh = smooth bf2 experience w/ vertical sync enabled - usually around 37 fps because card can't keep up (running 2xAA & 8xAF) - but it's smooth as silk.
Blurring/ghosting seems...
I picked this up yesterday at Sam's Club.
Seems very nice. Testing it out w/ a 6800GT & BF2 currently.
Have to force resolution to 1280x1024 through command line in BF2.
Was running it last night at 11x8 resolution.
Overall response seems quite good, there is a minor amount of...
questions regarding dedicated internet win2003 servers:
1) does kick/ban now work?
2) what rcon commands are used to kick/ban?
3) if no perma-ban, is there a time limit ban, like 60 minutes or something along those lines?
Apparently we can kick people from our server using rcon...
thanks very much for the linkage on those omegas, gonna try those out tonight and see what happens.
And, just so I can sleep peacefully - people ARE seeing the same thing on x800's and x800xt's, correct?
It's NOT just an nvidia problem, correct?
Because if it IS just an nvidia...
went from a 9700 to 6800GT here, used the 61.77 drivers at first - noticed the mipmap "shimmering" right away - "solved" it by cranking everything up and using 8x AA and 16x AF.
The IQ of the 6x.xx drivers is definitely sub-par compared straight across to the Catalysts.
Game I notice it...
