    It's also known as gorilla snot. It has that thick, sticky, slimey consistencey. Truely a miracle of science. Just be careful not to get it on your paint since removal may be difficult without damaging your paint.

    Silicone works fine on both materials and is a lot easier to clean up. If there is no stress or weight on the part then you will have no problems with that. Epoxy is a lot more permanent and only needed if you are attaching something heavy to it.
