Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Not sure if this is something you might wanna look at, but here's a link: http://broadband.motorola.com/consumers/products/signal_booster/ just in case.
I had my wife one up tonight but havent had a chance to hook it up yet. I havent really had any problems with signal yet, but didnt think it...
Anyone know if a reg-hack is possible on the 1800s? As it stands I really do not like running ATiTool for fan control.
Is there any other progs that allow constant fan control from startup?
Not really all that hard, just time consuming. I just made my first pair using DH Labs Silver Sonic BL-1 bulk cabling, and Milestek connectors. Need to use silver solder with faux additive, I picked up some cheap at rat shack. It is only 4% silver, but it should work ok. I do intend to get...
Congrats on your equipment! Lets hear what ya think once you get it all up and running.
I just picked up a pair of Athena WS-100's and 3 WS-60's for my HT rig. So far I'm really liking them. Just waiting on them to break-in some before I crank'em. And I really dig the all aluminum look...
Crucial Ballistix Tracer: Rock solid and a good O/C'er as well. Timings might not be as tight as some but works well for me. And the chasing bling LEDs are awesome. Just ordered another 2x1gig of the stuff. :D
If you are using an Audigy2 sound crd you would just run the analog outputs from the card into the 6.1 input on the back of your HK receiver. If you are using a DDL sound card you would only need to run the digital coax or opitcal output from the card to a digital input on the receiver, and your...
If you plan on running the SPDIF opitical or coax output of the card to your receiver, then you won't be doing anything with the subwoofer output from the card. As the SPDIF output carries all 5.1 channels of information from the card to your reciever from decoding. You would then run front left...
I don't clam to be an "Audiophile", because I equate that phrase with the term "critic". I have however spent a long time defining what "I like" music to sound like. To put that into terms like "clear" "unmuddied" "natural" "uncolored" is the only ways to describe sound that is pleasing to me. I...
Yes, that reciever would work just fine. Also, if there is a "Best Buy" near you, you could go there and look at there in person, as they carry a line on Yamaha Home Recievers. As far as the Realtek on your motherboard, I'm not sure what it supports, if so, then your set. Check the manuals for...
The included optical cable seems to be fine, I'm using it at the moment, but do plan on getting a higher grade one soon. I don't believe you will hear in difference in quality using the included one, or a $100.00 one. Now, a digital coax cable I'm sure the quality can make a difference.
