You can try pulling the battery and clearing the cmos with the jumper for say 5mins and then see if that brings it back? Tried a different vid card? mem? etc etc good luck!
You CAN unistall dx9(any ver). Go to www.guru3d.com and download the dx9 uninstaller. Works great, uninstalled dx9c on my bencher after losing some points in 3dmark. Back to 9.0b now and much better.
