Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Just FYI, the Cisco 1841ISR is a current-gen router capable of doing concurrent services at linespeed T1 -- they sell new for well over $950, and used for just under that. KEEP IT!
You'll never have a better home firewall than Cisco IOS IPS with the SPI firewall. The blue Cisco...
Cable internet is a shared line -- each modem has its own frequency to upload on, but a great deal of the download bandwidth is shared between a large group of modems. Just because your connection is capped at the modem at xx mb/sec doesn't mean that the group can see well over a few hundred...
You actually can use a router with only one Ethernet port to be a cable/DSL router -- the setup you want is referred to as "NAT-on-a-stick". YMMV with the technique, but it does work. Link

People dedicated enough will 100% of the time find ways around whatever blocks people decide to put in place. I run the network at a small business (maybe 20 employees in the main office) off a small cisco router and a decent Comcast business cable connection -- it's plenty fast for people here...
He DOES want PAT for what he's trying to accomplish. PAT is any situation where you are using one IP address for more than one connection at the same time --- any home network router really does PAT.
"NAT" would be useful if you had a few hundred IPs and wanted to use them all at the same...

PM me if you want it.
