    The ultimate coolermaster case needs...

    Sounds like the new Cooler Master stacker case or the old ATC-410, S4000. I have a 410 and using only 3.5" drives, 4 X scsi 9G, 2 200G IDE drive. I use external 5.25" box for burn DVDs...... 2 120mm intake fans on drive cage, 2 x 80mm additional intake fan and 2x 80mm exhaust fans.

    Prescott REQUIRES "Thermally Advantaged Chassis"

    Prescott chip has something like 103W. Normally Intel tested their chip at 45C (the air temp suck in by cpu fan). But Prescott max temp is around 70C, so it only gives you about 25C range. 25C/103W = 0.24C/W. You would need water cooling kit to achieve that kind of cooling performance...

    Thermalright is not noisy, unless you equip a high speed fan. Slap on a panaflo L or M speed fan, and it will run quiet all day long.

    You won't get any grease, pad on the green part, since the core (die) will be the only part contacting the heatsink.

    That's a replacement P4 heatsink and at best equal to Intel stock fan. If you don't plan to spend $20+, I would keep the stock fan.
