    The shells can be bought for pretty cheap. As well as other parts like scroll wheel, cable and other small parts. People really dig these mice! That's why I'm on the hunt for one / a few working ones ;)

    I suggest taking the GPU and placing it into a different system first. Easy and very conclusive. Almost every artifact issue I've dealt with has been related to GPU.
