Remember with rebates, once you cut off that barcode, no warranty or returns back to Newegg. You will probably not get the rebate from OCZ anyways... they have a Knack for declining for anything including a fly spec on the bar code when received... nope DECLINED.
I have a 3 week OCZ SSD sitting...
Found out mine was a Patriot PS-100 drive.... noticed that when I got the RAID rom screen display. Need to check the IRST screen for firmware.. I never noticed that before being listed... thanks for the tip.
But so far it is working great as a cache drive in a Z68 setup. I locked it up last...
I wonder how the sata controller is hard coded to the WD drive though.. how would it have known the original drive wasnt back in there?

Bababooey;
Your posted firmware date is showing 110322. That is newer than the posted firmware of 110309. That is interesting. With mine being a Raid drive in a cache, I cant see my drive anymore to get the information off it.
Good luck on the format to get it installed on laptop. You might try...
I did the open the case for internal hd on the WD element 2 tb last month sale at Staples for 89.99. There is a link to show where to press the tabs back to open the case at

Many had reported that they received a WD Black Label but mine was a...
Supposedly the SSD was a TORX first generation according to the number they have on their website. I am running as a cache drive in a Z68X mb setup with no problems. Its a Sata II and not real fast but faster than a hard drive.
Are you asking how I set up the cache drive? I have the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard so this applies to it:
I downloaded the newest IRST from intel and installed them then installed the Intel SATA drivers by unpacking then control panel/system/device manger and updating drivers on the...
Thanks... did anyone happen to check the firmware version of the received drive? If it was a TorX TRB series, they only offer one firmware update V110309 (I assume this is release date 3/9/2011)

Installed the drive in my Z68X system as a cache drive. After reinstalling the drivers, it detected the drive and operated just great. Now I have to RMA my Agility 3 SSD since it was junk. I am very happy with the 34.00 investment and their fast shipping.
Does anyone know for sure if this was...
Yeh, I am going to try it for a Z68 SSD caching since it really only needs 20 gb ssd drive for that.... I had a OCZ Vertex 60gb that quit on me after a few days (they are junk!). I hope this works just fine for this caching.. Hard to pass up for that price, even if it fails after 6 months, it...
I had bought a Powercolor 6950 back in November 2011. It ran for about 2 weeks then blew up. Now, only the fan runs. I had to RMA it back to Powercolor... They have had it for like 3 weeks with no answer on replacement yet. I wonder if there is a problem with all 6950's?

Gigabyte's Z68 motherboards are not much better..My Z68 has had a lan device quit and the raid rom quit working or being detected... plus the SSD cache device works intermediately. Its like they almost get something working then move on to another type bios/type motherboard... and they leave us...
