    Quieter PSUs

If silence is what you're truly after, your first priority should be looking for a new computer case. Coolermaster HAF series cases are built for maximum cooling, so along with excellent intake/exhaust airflow, any sounds emanating from your PC are just as easily escaping. Once you have a...

    XFX 4890-ZDFC

Ahh. Too bad. XFX cheapened them up getting rid of the digital Volterra VRMs (no software voltage control) and using a cheaper (noisier? poorer performing?) heatsink/fan setup. Sure it's nice that the VRMs on these newer models (probably) run a bit cooler, but I personally wouldn't be happy...

    Mousepad recommendations?

If comfort is key, the SS QcK series is excellent. It comes in numerous sizes and thicknesses. After using a QcK mini I'll never go back to hard plastic or glass mousepads/mats. It does get dirty, but is easy to clean with a slightly damp sponge. Reasonably priced too...

    XFX 4890-ZDFC

Is it a total redesign, minus the digital VRMs and Volterra VRM chips, or just some added/moved components?

    Videocard squeeks when I scroll

If you want to get rid of the squeal while surfing the web, just underclock your video card during 2D IDLE desktop usage. With my MSI HD4890 @ stock PowerPlay control (bouncing from 240/999 to 880/999 randomly), I would hear the little squeals whenever I scrolled through pages in IE...
