Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I think it has potential to be a HUGE deal, Yippee, in this incredibly PC an alarmist nation that is the U.S. It made headlines somewhere, an there is a chance to make more dumb laws an hire more union security workers to ruin your day because they feel a major power-trip. I agree, I don't...
Frickin' wonderful. Now our pathetic airlines will have even MORE useless security to go through. Take off your shoes, turn on your phone or laptop to prove it works, don't set your underwear on fire, a nailclipper will kill us all, shampoo or any liquids over 0.000004oz is cause for 6-hour...
Finish up the handful of games that I haven't quite 100% completed. Probably should do that instead of buying every game when it comes out an finish the ones I have!
Also try to find the last $300,000.00 or so for that Aston V12 Vantage Santa forgot.
Also, I was thinking about getting rid of the HDD cage altogether, as I'm going to leave out the DVD drive, (never use it, an if I need to, I have a USB drive I can use to install what I need, when I need it). As for the hdd, I plan on soon going strickly SSD an mounting it on the floor with...
I've done as much as I think I can with stuffing the cables in the cage as you've mentioned. Also, I scrapped the lower cage, of course to make room for the GPU, an also because I have my radiator on the lower front fan mounting, with two fans in push/pull configuration. I thought that was the...
I absolutely LOVE this mouse. It only took a couple hours before I was mastering the 12 keys on the side. (I play a lot of MMOs; WoW, SW;TOR, Rift, GW2, ect). Also, switching weapons in BF3 is quick an a breeze. It has become second nature, an not something I even have to think about...
I picked up a Rocketfish aluminum mousepad from Staples a couple years ago, an so far, it has been stellar. There is a "Control" and a "Speed" side to it, one slicker than the other, with rubber corner pads on each side to keep it from sliding on the desk. My Razer Naga mouse glides just so...
My g/f needed a nice mouse for her laptop, so I gave her my retired Logitech MX Revolution. I traded up to the Razer Naga MMO mouse, as I play WoW, SW;TOR an such.
Let me tell you, the MX Revolution I gave to my g/f is stupid comfortable! Battery life is still pretty good after a bit over a...
I've never seen the advantage to a Cyborg R.A.T. mouse. Sure, they look cool, but after you have it set up the way you want it, you probably won't mess with it again. Kinda gimmicky imo, but I have to agree it looks really cool!
For gaming, an using the Razer Naga MMO mouse, I am using a Rocketfish metal mouse pad. I think I paid like $20 for it at Staples, an it has a Control an Speed side with rubber corners to keep it from slipping. The "Speed" side of the pad is slicker than the "Control" side, an it's actually a...
I am running the Corsair AX850, an IMO, it has been a stellar psu, worth every penny, an has never had an issue. My previous psu was an XFX (forgot the model) an it was the best money I ever spent. Unfortunately the Egg doesn't have them anymore. Only reason I switched was because I...
My current gaming rig is housed in a black anodized PC-V354 SFF case. I've owned several Li Li's over the years, but this is my first SFF. Of course, the physical dimentions limit some airflow, as I'm running a closed-loop water cooler for the CPU, and an aftermarket cooler for my HD6950...
It doesn't happen all that often, but pushing out hundreds of the same product day after day, a lemon will eventually get through the pipeline. It's just a matter of odds. I'd have to agree with Skripka on this one, though. Don't think it was really the fault of Lian Li, IMO. I've owned...
Spacing, what driver version were you using on your 7970? I agree with you that, right now, nVidia drivers ARE better than AMDs, but for my 6950, I've had not one single problem with the drivers, even after I bios-clocked it to unlock the extra shaders.
If you uninstall the drivers for the card, be sure you COMPLETELY get rid of all traces of the driver before trying to reinstall it again, including any registry entries for it. Sometimes when you uninstall a driver, bits of it could still be floating around. A quick Google search can give you...
