Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi guys. I tried selling this somewhere else, not sold yet. I am going to try here. I have timestamps on the photos. I would prefer local cash, but I also accept verified PayPal Goods and Services. I have a verified PayPal account. Local to me is Houston, Texas area. I live in Spring, but...
Bump. I will also include an old HP laptop. I got it broken, put in 4gb ram and a HDD. I bought a brand new charger for it. The charging port needs to be resoldered to the motherboard and the battery may not hold a charge, but if you can resolder that it will be good to be plugged in.
Hi everyone. I have a build that is mostly completed that I would like to get it moved on.
Case is a Phanteks Eclipse P400S. Got a tempered glass side panel and RGB lighting. This is a great case.

Yes, a weak chip. But I figure I have a lot of RAM, some old HDDs, and a case. I'd like to find a cheap mobo for this chip to go into and build a decent computer for somebody without a lot of money. Looking for the cheapest possible, as this won't be used for gaming at all, just strictly an...
I upgraded yesterday. So I have two items that can be picked up locally for free. If I have to deliver them, I will deliver them within a reasonable distance, but it will cost you $8-10, depending on distance.
1. HP 2009m 20" LCD monitor. Specs are here...
I noticed that. A lot of them have proprietary connectors and power supplies. I found a couple. I'm just deciding which route to go. I have plenty of DDR3, and an i5 1150 chip. But I also have an i7 1151, which would necessitate new DDR4. I suppose it's not that big of a deal. I may just...
Thank you for the input. ir0nwolf, since you mention that, I'll look closely at the images and see if there is anything like that. Imagine, even a cheap ass system I could build now would be the most advanced gaming system I've used. The last system I built was Athlon-based. I think I had...
So, in trying to build a super cheap machine, and with no experience with 1150 chips, would I see a huge difference between a $15 OEM board and a $50 MSI or Asus board? These are used prices, of course. I'd be pairing it with a cheap video card, something like 2gb, around $50.
I have an i5...
It's crazy, because I did a lot of dumb shit that probably affected people more than I know. But I always remembered that somebody here might have felt like I fucked them over, and that's not something I wanted. But I'm going to try. I'm living a new life, honesty is important to me.
I'm going to bump this just twice because this is important to me and I want to know people see it. It's been so long, I don't even know who would still be here to see it.
I've got an Antec 380w, and a Dell 500w. Both power up, lights come on, fan spins.
Connect them to a Gigabyte b85m-d3h, with an i5-4590.
Both give me the same issue. Powers up for a second, CPU fan spins, then power off. Prices will repeat until PSU is turned off.
I know the CPU works, I...
