i bought the x1800xt 256 sapphire card....only had it for a few days but so far it's kickin good...i went from a 6800GT - x1800 unfortunately ATi's drivers suck total ass. Good card though, runs REALLY hot..so if you plan on OCing, i would definately look for a better cooling solution.
truthfully...the 7900GT is awesome....but teh x1800xt is faster at stock..but when you OC the 7900 things start to change..they're easily overclockable where as the x1800xt is a freakin heat monster..
I just bought an x1800XT 256mb it runs hot as hell, which diminishes the overclocking ability...
ewww..i just bought a Sapphire x1800xt....so far it's working good...doesn't OC very well but i have a feeling it's due to the massive amount of heat this thing generates..and the memory cooling on it.
Hopefully i'm a lucky one and it works good for me. :/
don't compare the cs:s stress test, it's a joke, you can run it multiple times with the same machine and get totally different averages.
my 6800GT @ 1280x1024 w/ 16xaf 6xaa all details high with HDR enabled pulled 130fps average...do the test again and it says something different.
holy god 400$ for a 6800GT o.O..wow they have 7800GT's for $299+ @ newegg and GTX's for $449....i'd go for one of those..either save a hundred bucks, or spend 50 more.
if you run a fillport and not a res..not that much at all..but basically depends on that...i used roughly 1/4 of a 32oz bottle when i did mine..mine runs BIX and a MAze4 cpu block w/ 3/8" tygon... .with a fillport.
heh looks like here when it snows...except it's alot colder in South Dakota...worst storm we had in 40 years was last year...3ft in like 4 hours...then it hardened turned to ice, then snowed another 3ft. so after everything settles in some places it was over 5 1/2ft tall most places it was only...
