trinitrons are max 131khz as far as i seen them
u can get some diamondtron like iiyama/mitsu/nec models with 140khz, so that would be highest displaying Hz CRTs
both are big enough for everything that goes in there.

go with g500 or sun, both are same specs except looks, i had g500 it was excellent monitor, now i use g520 by HP ( labeled as p1130 ). Viewsonic is out of choice between this three monitors.
p.s. i'd go with 2x for that price if they are good condition hehe
actually only info u need to know about monitor to get it's max refresh rate at selected resolution is it's horizontal khz spec . Like this Dell wich has 121kHz .
