Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Interesting ideas thanks. I guess I had a different experience with VR. I've had about twelve hours of play time with the Occulus Rift and about two hours with the Vive and it was a complete game changer for me. So much so that I can't enjoy my current non-VR gaming.
I like the 1440 idea. 1080...
I have a Samsung triple display which is starting to get a little long in the tooth and not 4K. I plan on buying both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift for gaming but I want a really nice, large display for everything else.
I have a very large curved OLED TV in my bedroom and I just have to...
Nice build... I'm looking at something similar. One difference is the video card. Isn't the 980 ti nearly a Titan X? I was thinking of the 980 ti and spend on other parts of the build.
Sort of right. They are buying from other sellers and eating the extra shipping charge. If they see enough traffic on an item, they source it themselves. You likely picked items they don't stock yet but you "voted" to have them stock it.
One thing most interesting to me is how people are so...
If it's worth the hassle to you, you can email help@jet.com with the lower price and they will address it. I found a power supply on amazon for cheaper and emailed them and got back a "We take pricing very seriously" response and an updated price about an hour later.
Sort of like getting Amazon Prime for free. Shipping is free for items over $35.
CEO just blogged about it:

I put together an order for my new VR PC (oculus and vive) with a 980ti and an Asus X99-a which seemed to price beat the...
Like what? I've had nothing but great experiences with Jet.com. I trust them (the most well-funded start-up in over a decade) over anything Slickdeals has to say.
I remember about a decade ago someone getting canned for using a cluster of servers to run distributed.net during off hours. Reading accounts of the incident, I thought the employer was tremendously unfair and ignorant. It's likely there was other circumstances for booting this guy but it gave...
If I look at the tasks in BOINC manager, it appears both GPUs are being used. In the task list I see two HCC tasks each using a GPU.

Question: can I use the official BOINC client or do I have to use the IBM one to join the team? I ask because I have no problems getting the official one to run but have some troubles installing the linked on here in Windows 8. Thanks!
Ebay Listing so you can check my feedback. Either hit me up here with a PM or Ebay. I think it's quite a good deal for someone.. $225 buyout, $125 min bid... or whatever offer I get.
Edit: removed ebay link.
