    Went to Best Buy today and I can also confirm the HP 2311xi passes the waving pen test at 0% brightness. The HP 2011xi did not pass even at relatively high brightness and showed multiple pens while waving.

    I just bought one, upgrading from a Phenom 8750. $260 shipped from Newegg. Just built my rig 3 weeks ago lol. Not a big difference in price, 235~275, I'd go with the 940.

    Well yea, it went up alright, but I only bought around $1,400 worth. :o And to this day, that has been the lowest amount of money I've ever put into a stock (and that increase has been the best I've ever gotten, 4 -> 18).

    I have an AMD 64 3200+ OCed to 3400+, Aopen Via chipset mobo, gig of ram, antec true ps, windows xp sp2 all the updates... And when I move the mouse (sometimes, bad habbit) when windows xp pro is loading (black background), the progress bar freezes and I have to reboot. anybody else have this...

    Stock is currently at $15.xx right now, down from 20 yesterday. Stock went as high as 25 (almost) a while ago. I think it's a good oppertunity to buy, if I had money free, I'd buy right now or wait till it dipped just a few more dollars.

    It's a 256bit card, 128megs. doom 3 performance doesn't seem too much better than my old rig in sig. AA and AF are set to application pref, cant set them off in ati display options (cant set them lower than 2x), vsync is off. The settings on 3dmark are all default, as i can't change them...
