Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just had killerbee247 PM me informing me that he was scammed by the same guy. He is in the process of contesting the charges with his credit card company and they had asked he provide them with any evidence he found of similar incidents.
So I sent him a copy of the same PM I sent Lethal...
Is there anything I can do to cover the extra cost, and/or ensure your security as the seller - to ship to Canada? I'm interested in a second 7800GT to go with mine, and yours is near identical (mine's a 515 revision).
I keep coming across threads that have perfect cards at reasonable...
Is there anything I can do for verification or your security to get you to be willing to ship to Canada, with me covering the extra shipping costs?
I'm very interested in the 7800GT, as it's nearly identical to my existing 515 variant - so I can either give SLI a try or use it for effective...
'Just next door' really means an 8-10 hour drive. I'd spend more than $220 I'm sure.
I am going to call him tomorrow, I just wanted to get a bit of feedback on other peoples feel for the matter first.
I posted a thread in FS/T today to see if anyone had a video card for sale that met my needs.
I also replied to a handful of threads with offers to sell, from the past few days.
Amongst various PM conversations I was hold, I got one from a guy named ' jthriller ';
I asked him some...
As per our PM conversation, I've paid you $110 for the card+shipping+insurance. You can let me know if the shipping or insurance with USPS (please, not UPS or Fedex no matter how tempting it is) comes to more than that.
UPS is a bad idea, they charge a unilateral fee on anything coming over the border.
Basically just go to your post office, declare the card value at $100 and insure it for that amount (likely $5-8 USD for shipping total for card with no box/manuals/cables with insurance).
So I'll up my...
If you don't mind me asking, screwed how? I'd pay a bit extra for USPS shipping with insurance - and then any responsibility is off your shoulders once you leave the post office.
Would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped to Canada (postal code S7K 3B9)? It's usually only $3-5 more than domestic US shipping when I have things sent up to me.
I need a second card, so figured I'd see if anyone had an older 6600GT or better they're looking to clear out.
I live in Canada, but I promise it won't be more than $3-5 extra to ship to me, it always is.
Paypal payment, liquid funds in the account.
I'll even consider sale offers of...
