Nah, if you don't buy the 9850X3D and a 5090 you're a chump lol
Like right now, I got sick of AMD 26.7.1 locking up my monitor so I pulled my 9070XT and put my B580 in... oh no I went from 240fps to 200.
You got your Nvidia GPUs listed as Intel, fyi. I've run just as much stuff as you have and came to the conclusion that too many people focus more on fps charts and graphs than just playing the game they want to play.
I did not post some comprehensive review, it was an example. I know we're not allowed to say anything negative about our Nvidia overlords but I'm not the first person to have noticed this by a long shot.
No dude, CPU limitation is NOT the problem to begin with. Thats the whole point. I don't know why you're hung up on it, you can clearly see that the first time I load with 610.88 the performance is comparable to the old driver, but the second load drops 20%. That is not a CPU issue, its...
IDK how to get "less" CPU limited with a tuned 9800X3D at 5K2K, you can figure that out for me. Its clearly a bug, but performance on 40 series has regressed by a decent amount as the drivers go on.
1440p max with no RT, and it remains the same at 4K. The reason I noticed it is I normally play at 5K and the frame loss is VERY noticeable when you rely on frame gen.
I think what I'm seeing is a bug of some kind, although 40 series performance has dropped off badly since the 50 series launch regardless, likely purposeful to make people buy new cards so Jensen can get a new jacket.
Check this out, I tried this on two separate machines with multiple cards and...
Performance on 40 series just keeps dropping. On Cyberpunk 2077 my average FPS is down 19% since 566.36. At this point the 4090 is barely faster than the 9070XT. I know the card hasn't actually lost performance because I have many of the old drivers saved, DDU and reinstall the old one and its...
I have no idea. I was planning to flush it and fill it with some primochill coolant I had but I broke one of the copper strands that run the motor so I just tossed it.
Its beyond the original warranty, and tbh it was a MASSIVE hassle to get it replaced the first time. They required a pile of...
I had this EK Nucleus expensive 360 AIO I bought like 3 years ago, the RGB all died randomly so they sent me a new one. It sat in the closet for a while because I had already replaced it.
Fast forward to a few months ago and I built a rig for a friend with a 13700K and used the brand new...
Yeah that was my first reaction, but then I realized this one is really pretty too. Asus does make some good looking boards. I'll be honest though, I really miss the wonky colors of the Sandy Bridge/AM3+ era like the Gigabyte UD series.
This board is more expensive, it has more I/O by a lot and better VRM. It’s around $50 more. I’m guessing they really didn’t have any white ones otherwise why would they throw money away.
I do get your point but I feel like trying to fight them over it when their policy is clearly written is...
