Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Nintendo's Press Release states 20 of the top 30 were on Nintendo systems, meaning nine of the titles between 21-30 are either DS or Wii games.
Oh come on, how would developers...
Say wut?
CoD:WaW one of the best games in the world?
Both WaW and City Folk are decent games in their series but neither are outstanding. At least City Folk has the excuse that it's the first time on the Wii, and it can sell to all the new gamers that haven't played Gamecube or DS versions...
You can't look at only the Top 10 NPD software numbers and extrapolate that for the entire market.
Wii software sales from Jan-Sept 2008 are already greater than the 360. Wii hardware numbers surpassed the 360 sometime in June, and the gap is only going to continue growing, eventually easily...
Right off the bat huh? You have one twisted memory.
Months from PS2 North American launch till release of above games in NA:
13, 22, 23, 14, 46, 12, 48, 10, 12, 35, 11, 23, 8, 36, 24.
Keep in mind PS2 launched in Japan eight months earlier than NA, giving developers even more time. Then...
Those numbers were from a quote of Pachter's without any sources given and can't be verified. They also contradict NPD that has the US life-to-date attach rates as of March 2008 as (source):
Xbox 360: software sales ratio: 7.5
Wii: software sales ratio: 5.3
PS3: software sales ratio: 4.6NPD...
IGN's 7.8 is actually the lowest score it's gotten so far, so it's looking pretty decent. It started shipping out on the 22nd, so retailers should start getting copies today.
Xplay - 5/5
NGamer - 9.4
Edge - 9/10
GamePro - 4.5/5 and Game of the Month
GameSpot - 9
Games Radar - 9
Famitsu -...
Since the article is about Japan, I found this thread over at NeoGAF that compiles the hardware and software numbers from Famitsu and Media Create (tracking services) for the new-gen consoles in Japan.
Those numbers gives us attach ratios of: Wii - 2.45; PS3 - 1.62; X360 - 3.76.
Now I looked...
I think you're jumping to conclusions. Wii was a surprise hit for everyone, it was assumed to be last this gen. Which developers and publishers were on board with Wii and developing games for it before launch? Only Ubisoft stands out and even they admit to rushing the launch window games...
Copy and paste of my reply in the Gametrailers forum about this 6 million figure.
In March Sony announced 5.5 million produced, 3.57 million sold to retailers. Now during Q1 they sold 0.71 million, so 3.57 + 0.71 = 4.28 million. Yet a gazillion articles can't add the numbers together and end...
Either the fan is clogged or the heatsink(s) isn't making good contact. Clean out the fan and heatsinks, and consider replacing the thermal pads/paste.
The OEM for your laptop is the MSI MS-1039. And it looks like it's easy to access the fan and heatsinks, just follow the Assembly Guide. The...
The 9-cell batteries for the current Dell 15.4" models (e1505, 1501, Lat D820) are the same size as the 6-cell, so they don't stick out but weigh more. For most other laptops, including Dell's smaller notebooks, the extended battery sticks out.
For HP's consumer line, their extended battery is...
