    That's no problem either. IC7s generally measure lower than actual voltages. Overall, I'd say just test the comp for stability. If it works, forget about the diagnosis mania.

The max core/mem options don't work right (speeds keep on going up until the comp crashes), and the scan for artifacts shows no artifacts where 3dmark03 crashes and Doom3 shows ugly triangles and missing textures.     Actually you can specify the "turn off temp" in the BIOS of many mobos. My IC7 has this option.

    Not at all. On most non-VIVO cards, there is a laser cut that does not allow enabling the plus four pipes just with a BIOS flash. Also, non-VIVO cards are equipped with 2 ns RAM, whereas (current) VIVO and XT cards come with faster 1.6 ns RAM.

    It's absolutely pointless to compare the temps shown by different mobo brands, especially if the chipset and the CPU type are so different. Even if we talk about the same Intel P4 CPU and the same chipset, Asus and Abit boards measure radically different CPU temps - the difference in the load...

    Help me realize better temps...

    I got about the same temps at 3.5 Ghz with the Zalman 7000 Cu. I'd say don't worry about it, or get a good watercooling system as a final solution.
