Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

The malfunction speed of the Y-axis seems to be determined by the sensor's capability, which should be around 3 m/s.
It might be fixed later...
My main issues with the G402 versus the G502 are these:
1. The G402 should exhibit slight "positive acceleration" versus the G502, but it should be consistent, so it could be adaptable.
2. The G502 has an incredible perfect control speed, so under normal gaming, it should never malfunction.
3...
I'm interested to see reports of a "smoothing" or anti-ripple algorithm, since no one has reported any from my reading into the G502...
Razer reportedly addressed its DeathAdder 2013's "smoothing" via an update of Synapse.
How many buttons do you want?
The Razer Naga 2014 got good reviews claiming that it didn't have Razer's "advance tracking algorithm", which would have caused inconsistent tracking if that is a concern, but it has an extra axis versus most current mice...
Roccat makes the Kone Pure Optical, which is its best mouse IMO, and the Savu, which is basically a cheaper KPO with a different texture, and both track well depending on the surface(s) used.
My Lycosa was one of the first, so it has the issues too, but Razer denied an R.M.A. years ago when I tried after the warranty was expired, so I am surprised...
If the Kone Pure Optical or DeathAdder 2013 would suit you, those might be your current best picks regarding consistent tracking.
The Steelseries Rival should be released soon, so you might want to look at that as it should compete against the DeathAdder 2013.
The inconsistent tracking of the Avago 9500, 9800, and other variants have worse than "1 pixel off every half billion", but I do agree that the C.P.I. war is causing more noticeable/prominent "smoothing" algorithms.
