Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Very glad it works for you, but that still does nothing for really controlling the channels. It essentially does the same as just setting it up initially.
The automatic setup doesn't account for a lot of factors (for instance temporary spikes on certain channels on certain times) or outright...
If you live in an area without interference, they can be great, if there is interference, they aren't the best to use, since they do not give you control over the channels they use
Indeed, even wired, the encoder makes a difference, since the Quest always uses streaming.
The AMD 7000 series wasn't restricted to lower performance, but also stuttering, which is a huge issue in VR and it indeed took them half a year to fix it.
The main difference between the Q3 and Q3s are the lenses and that difference is huge. I would never advice people to buy fresnel lenses ever. The clarity difference is so big, that they both feel like totally different headsets. To add insult to injury (since IPD is more important with fresnel...
I always have been pretty selective with buying GPU's, was thinking that it could only get cheaper when I bought my Voodoo as a 16 year old kid. Boy, was I wrong haha, but then again, I was young and money didn't come easy back then.
Here is my list:
Diamond Voodoo
Voodoo 2 from a cheap brand...
If you cannot explain it, then you don't even now why you are doing it. It generally isn't very productive to just go replace things left and right without understanding why you need to.
5Gbps is more than five times higher than the highest bitrate possible with the Quest 2/3, which...
I don't know how you move around in the world, but I do not do it sitting on a chair looking at my finger :P
I actually tried it, but it didn't give me the same result is HFR in videos does, not close at all. The biggest issue there, is that movies are displayed on a static screen and your head...
My Vero4K plays these videos without any issues (and has a lot less horsepower than the 1050Ti), I doubt it is the GPU. Even if someone else here has real issues with the same GPU, it might be a completely different issue (as mentioned before here in the thread).
Indeed, 24 (23.976 actually)...
Yeah, it was way better than we had, but still miles off what we have now. But it did kick it off epically of course.
And we had CRT monitors back then, which masked a lot of the downsides of low FPS games.
For me it is the 4090 I have now. I started with the Voodoo 1, which was cool and had a wow factor, but the graphics were still very crude, heaps better than the default cards, but still nothing special in itself. Now with the 4090 I am finally able to really enjoy VR gaming, which for me is a...
