This could be an issue with the drive housing controller as well or even the drive, depending on what its specifications are.. I suggest you try a high speed usb 3 flash drive and see if you get any improvements.- kirbster

Its all about feature set vs price point. Money was spent on the audio system, to maintain a price point then other areas can/will be sacrificed. Remember, it may be an upper end FM2+ board, but it is still a very low priced motherboard. -

I don't really see an issue in this case. You are not going to go crossfire with two high end GPU's on this platform. I guess if you are trying to do a nice cabling job the 90 degree ports would be a bit easier. But functionally, it doesn't matter much. -
