    Converting a GeForce to a Quadro was discussed here. Near the bottom on Page 1. I'm guessing you could do the opposite with a Quadro if you really wanted to since it involves a soft mod.

    I use the Harmony 720 in conjunction with the Microsoft MCE IR Receiver. I bought the Microsoft MCE remote & receiver on fleabay just for IR receiver for $15 (including S+H). Works very well. Been using the Harmony for over a year. Very customizable.

    You can still soft mod the 8800 series to a quadro. I modded my 8800 GTS 640 MB to a Quadro 4600. Now I can use the real-view feature in Solidworks. Crysis demo still runs really well with settings at High. Might not be a real quadro but it works. :D
