The material on top of the copper is NON conductive, very carefully remove the top coating untill you see the copper, then do it. Please let me know what happens because I want to do this to a VisionTek X800Pro thats comming in soon.

Those are much more expensive tho, do you think they are necissary to use to overclock this CPU? My overclocking expierence has always been with the P3s and Durons, this is all new to me again
hello, I just purchased an Athlon 64 cpu with an ASUS K8V mobo, i was giong to buy an AMD approved 300 watt powersupply/case, and value select ram from corsaire running at CAS 2.5 DDR3700 (400 MHZ). Is this good enough to get good overclocking results from this Cpu or should I get other RAM?
