Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Apologies for the slight thread hijack, but 10e, do you have any more info on the Hazro 26", specifically from a gaming/input lag point of view? I'm upgrading from a Dell 2405FPW (rev A01) and will be using it exclusively for PC gaming. Would you recommend the Hazro 26" for these purposes from...
I've not seen any figures despite exhaustive googling, although my guess is that as the LG has no scaler, but the NEC does, the LG will be similar to the 3007 and the NEC more like the 3008 in terms of lag (unless it has some kind of pass-through at native res).
I think I'm right in saying the...
Is there any word on availability of the LG W3000H-BN yet? I narrowed my choice of 30" monitors down to the HP or the LG (it will be for PC-only gaming) but I would prefer the latter for its more recent panel.
There are only 2 places in the UK claiming to have it, neither of which have good...
Thanks for that confirmation. As the Dell and NEC have scalers, and therefore are likely to suffer from significant input lag, it looks like the LG will be the 30" of choice for gamers.

Takedown, has your HP arrived yet? I'm buying a 30" screen in the next few weeks, and have narrowed my selection down to the HP and LG. I'd be interested in your views on the HP for gaming, as that's what mine will be used for, almost exclusively.
TIA :D

According to the linked page under the 'specifications' tab, it's confirmed to be an S-IPS panel.
Also, http://www.prad.de/en/tv/specials/ifa2007-teil28.html appears to suggest that this screen uses the same panel as the HP3065 and Dell 3007WFP-HC. I know the link is only a general overview...
I don't think the LG has a scaler - it only supports 1280x800 and 2560x1600, so appears to be more like the 3007wfp-hc and hp 3065 than the Dell 3008. It should have pretty low input lag, and there is some suggestion that it might have some kind of improved S-IPS panel, as mentioned in the...
Not used Komplett myself, so can't help with that I'm afraid.
The only other 30" that has UK availability at the moment appears to be the HP 3065. Dabs and a few other places have them either in stock or on backorder. You simply cannot get a 3007WFP-HC at all here for love nor money, but as (I...
I'm in a similar position, although I'm going to be upgrading from a Dell 2405, and will be using the 30" exclusively for PC gaming. From what I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a 30" with low lag and multiple ports and/or a scaler.
At the moment, I'm leaning towards the HP3065 as I can't get...
I've just finished work on the watercooling setup for my machine. Well - I thought I had. My pump is leaking like a seive and seemingly no amount of PTFE tape or silicone sealant seems to do the trick. Looks like a new one is in order.
My current pump is an Eheim 1250. I'm running a Swiftech...
Back in pre-PC days, Project Stealth Fighter for the c64 had a neat idea where you were required to identify a jet fighter from a profile schematic drawing, the corresponding diagrams were in the manual. Good idea and inkeeping with the game.
More recently, Uplink reverted to these methods -...
Thanks everyone for your advice! I know where I'm headed now with this, but Dillusion - why do you put iso alcohol in your mix?
TheRapture - thanks for the confirmation. I have a Toyota 2ZZ-GE motor in the back of my Lotus, and that uses the red coolant additive. I needed to get some for...
Thanks for the info, Daishi!
It only just occurred to me, whilst browsing another thread regarding additives, that I should have mentioned the rad/res I am using is anodised. Will this make a difference? Whilst it looks like a pretty good finish, there are a couple of places on the interior...
