    ahh I still have my diamond monster 3d, at the time I couldnt believe I was spending $200 on something for my computer but playing mechwarrior 2 on it was wow, I think the next game I ended up playing was decent freespace.

    It is complety turn based, even the combat you just drag your unit to the square that has the enemy unit on it and they basicaly go at it without any interaction or help from you. I think the resoultion goes that high, I been running it at 1200 and I think the higher resoultions were there...

    Well here they sell all games with english/french manuals, I know the box I got had a french english quick manual and 2 of the tech trees one in english other in french. Honestly I didnt even touch either and just poped the discs in (which were not labeled correctly btw but pirates was the same...

    It seems in canada the only version that got the full manual was the preorder edition, and they are charging $20 more for the preorder version even if you preordered most places just gave you the 3 cd small box.

    Losing my stuff in daoc made me finaly quit, It wasent on any of my characters just stuff I had in my vault but it was enough to make me release logging in for 3 hours forming a group for a hour and a half and a hour and a half of fun wasent worth it anymore at that point so goodbye daoc!

    Death of the Space Combat Sim?

    I would love for another round of wing commander / xwing / tie fighter /xwing vs tie fighter / freespace. Even if it is just remakes with better graphics/multiplayer it would be nice to play some of these games with current systems being used fully.
