Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just picked up the netgear 4500 at costco...but reading the smallnetwork's review has me concerned with the 2 stream 2.4 performance. Most of my devices are N, but I do have 2 older laptops with G. Will I see any true benefit to using these new N600/750/900? The asus 66u seems to be the...
I will use mine for my portable drive until TB externals become reasonably priced.
For now it looks this way: 1.5TB 2.5" external = $140-160
FW800 adapter = $20
TB adapter = $130(BHphoto carries it as of yesterday) + TB cable $50
so $180 vs $20 and this is for the portable version. I'm...
It sounds more like a SL to Lion difference in incorporation of the gestures. The only major one that took some adjustment is the natural scroll direction.
I think the biggest advantage of the jerkers are the swing out shelves..still, no bigger than a 20" lenghwise or a 24 verticially.
My old school 40" takes most of the center, but I'd bet a thinner 46" could probably fit in the center
I have a FT01 and since I happened to be back there swapping out my mouse I noticed a strange sound from the fan...sounds like my top 180mm is going bad. Only reason I would've thought about it at all is this thread. I'll give them a ring to see if they can do anything for me.
BX5a,
I should note that one review of the BX5a shows it being much brighter sounding than the warmer sounding A5s, aka Grado sound vs Sennheiser. I realize that the BX5a had an update too which may have affected the EQ, but I can't confirm since I haven't heard them myself.
Here is the link...
damn you should've posted last month..you could've bought the pair for 149 (music123 brand new).
edit: if you don't mind red..the limited edition set is still available for 199 (pair)
If you want a hassle free setup then the usual suspects, z2300, klipsch..are good. If OTOH you are willing to position bookshelves properly, then I'd recommend getting some decent bookshelves and saving up for a subwoofer later on. I personally have the A5s with a 10" woofer that destroys the...
just got mine..if the rebate comes this will be my first time getting the mx518 for 10. The last time it was 10, circuit city still had a B&M store in my area lol
it'd be nice if they did...hopefully they'd also work in the FT01. My caviar blacks vibrate the cage occasionally to the point that I have to open up and adjust it to stop the vibration.
