Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've owned 3 Lian-Li cases in my time. Some were terrific some sucked balls (upside down mounting of mobo... not good) I stick with Coolermaster cases these days. I have a 10+ yr old CM Stacker that holds 9 4tb drives in 3 pair config with a 120mm fan for each. Never had a problem with heat. I...
Seems to me that GPU are generally going DOWN in power requirements. Take the last 5 years into consideration... Unless you have some crazy shit going on I can't see the need for anything over 650. 10yr warranty is nice but honestly they fail in the first year or so if they are going to. just my...
i admit i have fallen behind a bit... my old GF450(460?) 448 core is in my box atm. Can it run with the 290 in the same box? Or do i need to change to AMD or just NV to spruce up tor Witcher3?
I can't tell if it's worth upgrading my GTX560ti 448 or not. I don't really need to i suppose, i only have a single 24" hooked to it and it handles everything just fine maxed out.
What did you mean by "If you are using an Intel system prior to Sandy Bridge, excluding X58 users, then there seems to be little reason to purchase a Sandy Bridge system if Ivy Bridge is open to you as a choice."
Are you saying to me and my fellow old time X58 users that it's time to jump...
I just have too many to list. I have had a computer since i was a little kid and i'm 42. I wish i had the time (and memory) to list them all. I'll just do my first and last.
Intel 8086 @8MHz
***many MANY others***
Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.5MHz
sometimes certain types of memory just do not work with a mobo. it's not common but i have had it happen. memory can meet specs but the board just does not like it. i do not believe that you could have gotten that many bad sticks... not from AMY vendor. it's just not possible.
I'm curious too. I just got an 830 256GB yesterday and plan on installing it early next week. I'd like to know what the point of their sofie is, and why should I add another app that runs in the background on my gaming rig.
edit: I found my answer via Google... sort of. let me hear from real...
true but i've been using a full size kb/mouse forever. this is a small kb w/ a trackpad on it. good enough for me... any smaller and my dog will run off with it or it will fall in between the cushions and be lost in the couch forever haha.
i considered this deal then said heck with it and bought this logitech- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DKZTMG
Logitech has always done me right and that looks to be the best wireless kb/m solution for my needs.
