Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ok - back at [H] for the first time in years. 40 year gamer, rig builder, taken the last couple of years off due to job, new kid, etc and I'm looking to dive back in. I'm an original funder of Star Citizen, so I'm going to need horsepower, I'm old, so looking at gaming on the bigscreens at 4k...
Yeah, given some of the absurd comments above you nice to see that Newegg PR is posting here - at least some part of their operation is responsive. I've got a $3,000 build I'm putting together over the next month. The money newegg will lose with me going elsewhere is greater than the money...
Yes, at the time denon had a very vague, "make sure to buy from one of our licensed resellers" message, since improved. We had a lively discussion about it on avs at the time. Doesn't change the fact that newegg committed fraud and has been completely unapologetic about it. These guys deserve...
So this isn't missed by any unsuspecting [H] who ends up getting screwed on a holiday purchase:
Long time (15+ years) big customer (more than a dozen builds when I look at my order history) customer of newegg. I won't buy from them anymore at all. The real point of this post is to warn folks...

Not to mention that everyone let him slide on the intentional (anti-amd) misunderstanding that the op was comparing the PERFORMANCE of two 290s to one 780 (ridiculous, they blow it out of the water, more so at 4k) when he was actually comparing the PRICE.
I don't engage in the fan wars...
also - if you have a 5850 already - would waiting on the 6850 be a good crossfire choice? would the tessellation features on the 6xxx work with the 5xxx in crossfire? If not these dropping prices on the 5 series are a far better deal for many of us.
Now THIS is what actual [H]Gawd's do on Hot Deals, not pasting another lame newegg "deal"
Thanks to StarTrek4U, Prime has been very useful for me, just not $79/year useful, this is great to have.
