    Hrm wierd my CPU never goes above 47C under max load using the Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu Pure Copper cooler + Arctic silver 5 ( P4 2.8C @ 3.3ghz ) When I had the stock intel cooler it would hit 60C under load @ 3.1ghz, Case temp averages 32-33C ,it's been 100-105F out here in CA.

    The absolute best aircooling solution?

    I just installed a Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu Pure Copper cooler yesterday and got a 13C drop in my max load temps,down from 60C using the retail Intel cooler to 47C with the Zalman. It is also a very quiet cooler.. Good stuff ;) Oh and check out the size of this thing :D

    Maybe the ram you're using is holding it back, Did you run doom 3 timedemo twice in a row? The first run is always lower because of the frequent pauses.. other than that not sure :confused: ,Im running 61.77 drivers on my 6800GT and getting 11,490 3dmarks and 58 fps Doom 3 timedemo 1600x1200...
