Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
This may be a silly (read: stupid) question, but how does one determine the type of mobo in a machine? I mean, whether it's ATX or otherwise. I ask because I recived an older computer I'd like to work on, but I'm not quite sure about that.
Thanks in advance, and if it's a stupid question...
I'm trying to boot Knoppix (v3.4, 5/17/04) off the LiveCD on my HP Pavilion ze4805 notebook. After the splash screen, it shows dark black screen and stays that way. The HDD doesnt spin, the CDROM doesnt spin, just nothing.
Has there been any reported issues? What could cause it to do this...
Hey Everyone,
These are some of my recent photos, nothing spectacular, but these are pretty decent. Let me know what you think!
Thanks for your time!

hey all, I'm a Linux newbie. I'm currently running Mandrake 10 Community with KDE 3.1, and LOVE it. Mandrake really is a great distro for beginners, I was able to pick it up and go, right from the start. It works beautifly with my hardware, without much fuss or swearing. I hope to try many more...
Personally, I'd stay with XP.
Win2K is great and all (I use it on my personal machine), but XP doesn't have some of the software/hardware/OS compatibility errors that 2k has. At my brothers school, they bought brand-new top of the line computers, reformatted them with 2k. Not 2 weeks later...
I'm very deeply sorry for your loss, and hope you have a full a speedy recovery. You're a stronger man than I, Brian.
I think I can speak for all of us on the [H] when I say that we're pulling and praying for ya, because I know I am, no doubt.

Iconz1: no kidding, I started photography at my brothers wedding. I ran around following the pro photographer with my little point-n-shoot, watching what he did. In the end, the film was destroyed, and my shots were the only ones of the ceremony. Go fig.
rockford: v. nice shots...
Some of those arial shots are great, I wouldnt have the balls to strap my camera to a ballon.
Then again, It'd be hard to push the shutter button with it way up there. ;)
Sorry about the unfortunate balloon-clown-gun-blammo-thingy. That really sucks!
Hope you never give up taking such...
