    WTF/WTB/WTT for an iPhone

Yeah I'm thoroughly confused as to what exactly you're willing to trade for an iPhone. Maybe type something up with your list instead of bad pictures in bad lighting.

    New Westinghouse 22" (LCM-@@W2)??

I finally bit on this monitor. I've been looking at it off and on since it was introduced this summer. I found that all I do lately is check monitor prices for a large widescreen monitor. Got tired of checking prices and so I picked it up last night. I really like it. Lots of backlight...

Computer locks up after playing HL2 for awhile?

I just played HL2 for about 45 minutes. Looks like setting it back a few clock speeds did the trick, the game still played very well. I was reading on the Asus page about some beta testing for the new BIOS updates, I'll wait until they officially release them. Thanks again :)

Computer locks up after playing HL2 for awhile?

That helps a bunch! Thank you for the advice. I will try underlocking the memory, hopefully the bios revision will come out relatively soon. I had read that the board had problems with a lot of different kinds of memory, but I got the memory for a steal of a deal, so I figured if for some...

Computer locks up after playing HL2 for awhile?

Hmm, I have an Antec TPII 550w PS. I went ahead and invested a lot in it, figuring I'd need a good, clean, power source for the components I put in. I wouldn't think that'd be the problem. Hmmm, any other suggestions? I can get our power supply tester from work tomorrow night and test it I...

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 4000+ Socket AM2 65W Retail @ 184 free shipping

I've been doing some research for a good motherboard to match up with this processor. Does anyone have suggestions? I was thinking about the Asus M2N-SLI. I have no need for dual video cards, as I'm not a gamer, but I figure pci-e might be used for something else later, and I would already...

Building a new computer for a recording rig

OK, forgive me naivety once again, but I'm currently researching processors. Should I be considering the dual core route for my needs right now? If not, I've tentatively picked out the AMD Athlon 64 3700+, seems like a bargain all things considered. Someone mentioned that prices could be...

Building a new computer for a recording rig

by the way, what studio monitors are you using? I am looking to buy some powered speakers that will be somewhat easy to transport in between here and our school's studio. As far as the application of this computer, for now I will actually mainly be doing mixes on it. My school's studio is...

Building a new computer for a recording rig

Hey, thanks man. It looks like you've got a pretty nice set up going on. I've got a dual 19" lcd setup right now, but I'm thinking about investing in a larger widescreen monitor. Not really out of necessity, but just for fun. Let me know any other suggestions you've got.

Building a new computer for a recording rig

Thanks guys so much for the help thus far, good tips. I figure memory and processor speed will be important, but memory more so. I'm thinkin 2gigs to start with? As far as my time frame, I just want to finish it before the summer ends. Like I said, I'm working at best buy (in the geek squad)...
