Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Oh THAT is precious!
With about 500 out of 640 responses being IFBs trolling...
Unless you are an IFB getting your jollies there is really no point in being here is there?
ROTFL. As we have seen, anyone with an internet connection can trash talk AMD. I find it amusing that it is so much fun to some that this thread now has 637 responses.

You are just trolling now. Take it elsewhere. It is against the rules. - Kyle
Wrong again. DEC was the first with a 64 bit processor called Itanium.;) Intel just bought the processor to get in the 64 bit game.
Cash can buy stuff (as I mentioned before).
Precisely, on all counts. Say what you will, money buys stuff. If you are operating on a (relative) shoestring, you can invest in a few ideas. You push and pray and HOPE that those ideas pay off. If they do, then you have a few good years, if they don't (and the stuff in Phenom was NOT...
ROTFLMAO.
"What is in the best interests of computer enthusiasts is for AMD to return to their former position as leaders and competitors in the CPU market, much like the back-and-forth in the graphics chip market."
"Oh, and by the way DON'T buy their products!"
Can you say STUPID...
Patience grasshopper. In a few months Intel will drop their prices, then AMD, then Intel, then AMD and the PII will be under $200. Then it will be a compelling upgrade.
I never called Kyle an IFB. I called what he is preaching (and his attitude) stupid.
To proclaim that you want competition and then preach how AMD has no value to anyone is... well... pretty stupid. What exactly would happen if everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) though Kyle was the cat's meow...
Kyle should pull out his checkbook and write AMD a check for 5 or 10 BILLION stipulating that it has to go to research. And then do so every year for a few years!

So I ask again:
AMD has 11% of Intel's income to work with.
